Synopsis
Once successful film director Val Waxman is in desperate need of a comeback. Disaster strikes when he suffers psychosomatic blindness--during the production of his big-budget return!
Rather than sabotage his career, he proceeds to direct the film with guidance from his Chinese cinematographer’s translator, while hiding the truth from his ex-wife and producer (Téa Leoni) and her studio honcho husband (Treat Williams).
Chaos ensues with memorable punch lines and a Hollywood ending that’s as entertaining as the mayhem that precedes it.
