Synopsis

Aubrey Flint, a reclusive model soldier painter with a lifelong hatred of Christmas, is sentenced to community service at Willow Lodge, a retirement home on the brink of closure. Reluctantly roped into assisting with a chaotic production of A Christmas Carol, Aubrey clashes with its colorful cast of residents, including a chain-smoking ex-diva and a quietly wise model-shop owner. But as rehearsals unfold, friendships form and ghosts of Aubrey’s own past begin to surface. When the show is threatened and a close friend is lost, Aubrey must choose between retreating into solitude or risking everything to save the home—and rediscovering the warmth he thought he’d lost forever.
