Synopsis

Lil, a devoted single mother to her young son, feels nothing for her unplanned newborn after a one-night relapse with her ex. Ashamed and exhausted, she tells no one—except something already senses the void. Drawn to mothers who are uncertain or overwhelmed, an ancient creature begins to circle. When Lil loses her home, her domineering mother Judith installs her in the family’s long-abandoned house, where buried tensions erupt and old secrets surface. Isolation deepens, the creature closes in, and Lil is forced into a primal fight for her child—and for herself.
